Terms of Service

Effective date: March 12, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service define the conditions and procedures for using the brain training puzzle game service provided by Mentiq (hereinafter “the Service”), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between users and the Service.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • “Service” refers to the web-based brain training puzzle games and related services provided by Mentiq.
  • “Member” refers to a person who has registered and been granted access to the Service.
  • “Guest” refers to a person who uses the Service without registering.
  • “Content” refers to all information provided through the Service, including puzzles, games, statistics, and rankings.

Article 3 (Posting and Modification of Terms)

  • These Terms are published on a dedicated page within the Service.
  • The Service may modify these Terms within the scope of applicable laws when reasonable cause exists.
  • When Terms are modified, the effective date and reason for change will be announced at least 7 days in advance. For changes unfavorable to users, at least 30 days advance notice will be given.

Article 4 (Service Agreement)

  • The service agreement is established when the user agrees to these Terms and completes registration through Google social login.
  • Guests may use some services without registration, but member-only features such as record saving are not available.

Article 5 (Service Content and Changes)

  • The Service provides various brain training puzzle games including Sudoku, Lettermind, Nonogram, Spot the Difference, and more.
  • The Service may change the content of provided services for operational or technical reasons. In such cases, changes will be announced in advance.
  • The Service is provided free of charge. Some paid services may be added in the future.

Article 6 (Service Interruption)

The Service may temporarily suspend operations in the event of natural disasters, system failures, or other force majeure circumstances. Users will be notified before or after such interruptions.

Article 7 (Account Deletion and Restrictions)

  • Members may request account deletion at any time through their profile page. The Service will process the deletion immediately.
  • The Service may restrict or suspend membership in the following cases:
    • Registering with stolen identity information
    • Deliberately interfering with service operations
    • Manipulating scores through fraudulent methods
    • Violating applicable laws or these Terms

Article 8 (Member Obligations)

  • Members must comply with applicable laws and these Terms.
  • Members shall not engage in the following activities:
    • Stealing others' personal information
    • Unauthorized copying or distribution of information obtained from the Service
    • Cheating using automated means (bots, etc.)
    • Any other activities that interfere with normal service operations

Article 9 (Intellectual Property)

  • Intellectual property rights for puzzle content, design, and software provided by the Service belong to the Service.
  • Users may not commercially use information obtained through the Service or provide it to third parties without prior consent.

Article 10 (Advertisements)

The Service may display advertisements within the service interface for operational purposes. Prior consent will be obtained before sending emails or push notifications containing advertisements.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

  • The Service is exempt from liability when unable to provide services due to natural disasters or comparable force majeure.
  • The Service is not responsible for service disruptions caused by user negligence.
  • Brain training puzzles are for entertainment and educational purposes only and do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)

  • These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • In the event of disputes related to the Service, both parties will negotiate in good faith for amicable resolution.
  • If negotiation fails, the competent court shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act.
