Mental Rotation· Advanced

Goal

Find the shape that matches the original when rotated. Answer quickly and accurately for a higher score.

Rules

  • Tap the choice that matches the original shape at the top. The correct answer is a rotated version of the original.
  • Each question has a time limit. If time runs out, it counts as incorrect.
  • Mirror images (horizontally flipped) are incorrect. Distinguish between rotation and reflection.

Focus on distinctive protruding parts of the shape to quickly determine the rotation direction.

Mental Rotation, developed by Shepard & Metzler (1971), is a core paradigm of spatial cognition where response time increases linearly with rotation angle.
