Go/No-Go· Advanced

Goal

Tap the screen quickly when a green circle appears. Do nothing when a red circle appears.

Rules

  • Green circle (Go) — Tap the screen.
  • Red circle (No-Go) — Do nothing.
  • Missing a green circle or tapping on a red circle counts as wrong.

Go trials appear frequently, building an automatic tapping habit. The real challenge is stopping on red.

The Go/No-Go task is a classic neuropsychological test for response inhibition. It is closely linked to prefrontal inhibitory control and widely used in ADHD research and impulsivity assessment.
